We’re looking for a Growth Director to join the company’s management team and to ensure our rapid global expansion continues. As a Growth Director, you will be shaping and executing strategies to improve our brand visibility, generating high-quality sales leads, leading our lead generation team and ensuring we have the best growth practices in place with a data-driven approach. Your goal is to keep our sales team engaged with a growing number of global sales meetings while ensuring our brand is recognized as a leader in bioinformatics services worldwide.

We already work with hundreds of academic universities and biotech companies in over 20 countries, and have over a decade of experience in marketing and lead generation. Now, we’re looking for a leader to take our efforts to the next level!

What will your key responsibilities be?

• Developing and implementing a data-driven marketing strategy to increase global brand awareness and lead generation
• Improving outbound contacting strategy to increase lead quality and conversion rates
• Driving inbound lead generation through strategic digital marketing initiatives (especially website, LinkedIn & Google Ads)
• Ensuring systematic search engine optimization (SEO) in collaboration with external partners and drive its development
• Leading company’s social media presence and strategy for both inbound sales and branding
• Overseeing the collection of client testimonials, case studies, and references to strengthen our credibility and marketing efforts
• Leading a small team, which has strong experience in biotech and from the company already
• Developing and implementing an employer branding strategy to attract top bioinformatics talent globally in close collaboration with our Head of Employer Branding

What are we expecting from you?

• Passion for growth marketing with strategic and data-driven approach
• Strong leadership skills in guiding, supporting and developing your team
• Experience from life science marketing / sales, consulting business, IT business or marketing high tech services
• Proven expertise in most of the following: lead generation, marketing management, increasing brand awareness, SEO, content marketing, digital marketing, and data-driven decision-making
• Ability to engage with biotechnology scientists
• Residency in Finland and willingness to work at our office in Tampere with your team from time to time
• Ability to communicate fluently in English

What are seen as an advantage?

• Previous team lead and/or management team experience
• Experience from leading marketing initiatives in a start-up / scale-up environment
• Experience from the Life Sciences industry
• Expertise with AI and marketing automation solutions
• Finnish skills

What is the recruitment process?

• A discussion with Arttu. The first discussion is more general, focusing on us getting to know each other. We will want to hear about your experience, motivation and expectations, and tell you more about Genevia Technologies as a company in order to decide if we are a mutual match
• The second discussion will be with our lead generation team. We want you to have the opportunity to meet your future colleagues and a chance to gain more insights about our leadgen practices. We also want our team to have a chance to get to know you better
• The third discussion will be with our CEO Antti and CFO Klaus. The aim of this discussion is to discuss more about your strategic vision and have a fruitful discussion about the company’s growth vision, management team working practices and expectations
• A discussion with Arttu regarding some contractual details and practical matters
